THANK YOU for choosing to save a rescue dog and for considering adoption! We have many wonderful dogs that are currently ready for adoption and we hope that you will find the perfect one that fits into your home, family and lifestyle! Rescue dogs are special because they are perhaps just a little more greatful for the second chance they have at life and they will reward you with a lifetime of unconditional love and happiness.
When we place our rescues we do our best to ensure that you are being matched with the dog that you feel will fit perfectly into your home and family. It is also important for everyone, including your future new best friend, that we are making sure that your home is the perfect fit for the needs of that particular dog, as well.
Please keep in mind that we often receive many applications for any one single dog and it is not always possible for us to return a personal call to every person that applies for one of our dogs. We go through a process of reviewing each application and once we feel we have found the right applicant, we conduct a background check on anyone we feel would be the right fit for that dog. Once this process is completed we will contact the family to set up a time for a meet and greet with the dog. It's important that all of the members of your family, (including other dogs) meet the new dog so that everyone is onboard and in agreement that this is the right choice for you.
* We are an organization made up soley of volunteers so we ask that you please be patient while we go through the application review process.
All adoption donations are non-refundable.
The adoption application below can be completed and returned to us via email at info@rescueadog.org
**Sometimes other websites might grab and post adoptable dogs from our website but they don't always update them once our dogs have found their forever homes. As a result, we often get inquiries for dogs that have already been adopted. We are now posting all of our adoptable dogs to AdoptAPet.com and Petfinder.com please check these websites and search on RescueADog.org for our adoptable dogs.
