Rescue A Dog is a non-profit 501(c)(3) totally volunteer based rescue group that is dedicated to the rescue, rehab and rehoming of abused, unwanted, and abandoned dogs.  All of our dogs live in loving foster homes with our qualified volunteers who provide them with the care they need to heal and prepare them for adoption placement. We focus on evaluating each dog's individual needs, providing high quality veterinary care, and working towards finding them a life long match through adoption.  

 

We work hard to educate our local community on the importance of rescue, responsible pet ownership, and the difference each person can make in the lives of these dogs that are in such need. The proceeds from each purchase of a t-shirt will be used solely for the basic need of our animals, veterinary care, adoption efforts and education. When we place a dog in a foster home we pay for the initial vet check, vaccinations, micro-chipping and any necessary follow up vetting for the dogs that may require additional treatment. We also provide any supplies needed for our dogs in their foster homes such as crates, beds, blankets, food, toys, etc. necessary to keep them happy and healthy while they are awaiting their new forever families.
